Our climbing program provides scouts with a great physical and mental challenge. Although scouts of all ages enjoy climbing it provides a great program oppertunity for older scouts.
The rifle range offers scouts a chance to learn how to properly and safely operate a rifle. Another program that all scouts love.
Summit Lake allows Camp Thunderbird to offer many great aquatics based programs that are not possible at most Scout Camps. Scouts can learn to sail boats of various sizes as they work on their Small Boat Sailing merit badge, or just want to sail open program time.
Swimming is an activity enjoyed by almost all scouts of every age. Our swimming hole and aquatics staff provide a great area for scouts to have a great time and improve their swimming skills.
